The Anunnaki

According to a controversial theory based on an interpretation of ancient Sumerian texts, the Anunnaki, are aliens from the planet Nibiru which became the theoretical 10^th member planet of our solar system several billion years ago.    This planet, is believed to have an elliptical orbit, but unlike all other planets in our solar system, moves clockwise rather than counterclockwise.   In fact, according to this theory on its maiden voyage into our universe, Nibiru collided with another planet (Maldek) in our solar system creating Earth when it (Nibiru) inadvertently drifted into our galaxy by gravitational pull from several of the sun’s outer planets; thus becoming the fabled “Planet X”.

Further, according to this theory, the inhabitants of the planet Nibiru were the Nefilim or giants described in Genesis (6:1-2, 4) of the best selling book, The Holy Bible.

Regardless, the planet (Nibiru) is said to have a complete orbit only once every 3,600 years which has allowed the Anunnaki easy access to Earth on mutable occasions via space craft, beginning more than 400,000 years past, when Nibiru reached its closest point with our world. Subsequently, Earth was colonized for the purpose of mining for gold and other minerals using a race of beings (the Igigi) for the “heavy lifting” that ultimately rebelled.  While here, they established a spaceport near ancient Sippar (in Iraq), and lived in a kind of idealistic society as a small colony.

In those days of old, Earth was more densely populated by all manner of beasts, particularly during the long time of “the rebellion” by the Igigi. This, coupled with the fact that the Anunnaki had centuries earlier attained the skill and knowledge needed to genetically splice DNA, they determined it best to replace the dissenting labor force.    

That is when the most amazing creatures were created; such as the Centaur, which was a crossbreed between the Anunnaki and the wild horse. This was among the early attempts to design a strong and intelligent worker. Although that project was eventually left by the way-side, needless to say this is where the myth about the Centaurs comes from. 

The intent was to create a creature for the long term; so “the perfect worker” was designed to toil their mines, farms, and other enterprises throughout various regions of earth, particularly in the vicinity of the expanse that would come to be the Sumerian culture, which today is often called the Cradle of Civilization.     

Here, they created Modern Man, Homo sapiens, through genetic manipulation with themselves and the ape man of the day; the likely candidate: Homo erectus.   Through this genetic manipulation a culture superior to all others native to Earth was “designed”.  The new species provided “gifts to the gods” in the form of slave labor, food and other material goods.  In exchange for these efforts, they (the Anunnaki) gave the ancient Sumerians to-be and others their architectural, agricultural, astronomical, and cultural training.  

According to most evolutionist’s, humanity on Earth would have likely evolved with-or-without help of genetic manipulation, although it would have taken much, much longer. Time estimates range to as much as forty million years.  In other words, absent the help of the Anunnaki, it’s very un-likely that you’d be reading this publication – at least just yet!

The Anunnaki have no defined appearance known to record, however, according to mythology, the Anunnaki are believed to look a lot like humans in their original forms, but are much taller; but most importantly are believed to be a “shape-shifting” race, possessing the ability to mold themselves into many shapes and sizes. 

This characteristic was regularly promoted by the Nibirian / Anunnaki practice of disguising themselves as fish-like-humans, lion-like-humans, bird-like-humans, and other such creatures in order to make sure the “new human species” and labor force would worship them as token gods. In any event, this exercise in masquerading helped insure the Nibirians themselves no longer had to physically work on Earth because this activity naturally instilled fear and ah into the vast majority of the natives throughout the many regions of earth.

For thousands of years the Anunnaki used man-kind as their servants, their workers and even their solders during various battles amongst themselves.  Aside from using mankind’s labor for hundreds of mining operations our ancient ancestors were forced to assist in constructing their cities, palaces, temples, and astronomical installations on all the continents of Earth.  Expanding from their beginnings in Mesopotamia, then to Egypt, India, Central and South America; within several thousand years, the Anunnaki’s stamp could be witnessed to the farthest reaches of the planet.

A circumstance violently opposed by the up and coming or developing race of Earth’s new and improved humanoids from time to time was the worship of the Nibiruan beings as “gods”. It’s of little surprise that this activity did begin to decline with the emergence of a one-god concept. Nonetheless, wars between the native inhabitants usually resulted in fierce differences in belief systems, and the Nibirians thrived on all the humans fighting each other instead of fighting the “gods”, who were the real enemies, hiding behind the their many disguises.

Some researchers say the eventual demise or the departure of the Anunnaki from Earth was the result of a nuclear war with opposing factions of similar beings from the planet Nibiru or perhaps other advanced life forms from a completely different star system (it’s said they are many). Others say they are yet living among us as direct descendant’s no less – However this theory requires that you recognize the chapter and verses referenced here-in-above in the Book of Genesis (6:1-2, 4): “6) 1. And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2.  That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.” . . . “4. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them . . .” (KJV), as being an accurate statement.

The idea of the ancient gods being aliens of some sort may seem unusual, but the inclination to make the gods of old into “flesh and blood” beings is not at all that new.  Such thinking dates all the way back prior to the time of the Greek historian Herodotus (5^th century BC), who is commonly referred to as the “father of lies”; such thinking was further developed by the Greek philosopher Euemeros (late 4^th century BC), his specialty was mythology by the way.   This tendency is known as “euhemerism” or “evemerism”,  which claims that the minor gods of various cultures were not “mythical” at all, but were in reality kings, queens, warriors and such. So you could say this Anunnaki hypothesis is a recent version of evemerism.
